Leather ages elegantly and conveys countless stories; the best way to care for it and maintain it, is with a natural cleanser and conditioner.

 

-   Do not machine wash.

-   Do not dry clean.

01 Clean

• Use a soft brush to remove dust particles from the surface of the Baagh leather article.
• Use a mild cleaning solution such as Dettol or even a mild face wash. In a ratio of 1:10 of cleaning solution to water.
• Always do a patch test in a discreet area such as the inside or the bottom of your article. Check how the cleaning solution reacts to your leather.
• Dip a clean cloth into the cleaning solution and gently wipe your article. Avoid rubbing too hard.
• Allow the article to dry naturally once you’ve cleaned all the surfaces.

 

02 Moisturize

• Dab a little bit of the leather cream/conditioner/wax on a clean cloth (preferably microfiber cloth).
• Apply the cream on the base or insides of the article as a patch test.
• Using gentle circular strokes, rub your entire article.
• If you don’t have a leather cream/conditioner/wax, use a mild body lotion or a natural oil such as coconut oil. Always do a patch test. (usage of anything except a dedicated leather cream/conditioner/wax is not advisable, only when there’s a lack of choice)

 

03 Store

• To store your Baagh leather article, ensure you place the article as per its wearable shape or flat out to avoid wrinkles.
• Place your leather article in a cotton cloth/dust bag provided with every purchase. This allows the leather to breathe. (avoid plastic)
• Place it neatly in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Avoid closed, humid corners.
