Product and Sizing Information

All Baagh products and accessories are handcrafted by highly skilled local veteran artisans in India.

Our Baagh pieces have undergone numerous laboratory and physical tests on working, sporting, show, and traditional pet dogs to ensure their durability and strength. However, we strongly recommend that you attach your leash to the D-ring and O-ring fittings only.

We recommend that you measure the circumference of your pet’s neck and add half an inch (1.27cm) to ensure a comfortable fit. Please follow this rule for our harnesses, collars, focusing on your pet’s chest size. Refer to our product size charts here.

Each product is photographed with precise attention to detail, and the colours shown should accurately depict those of the product in question. However, it is possible that they may vary slightly from one screen to another, due to differing monitor display settings.

Yes, every baagh product and accessory can be worn individually.

Availability

All our products are created handcrafted by our artisans, according to very strict quality criteria. We work primarily with leather, which is a natural material, and a resource limited by Baagh’s strict selection criteria. For these reasons, several weeks are required to create a Baagh leather pet accessory before it is available for sale.

  •  In case of restocking, the shipment period may take longer, and our team will send you a notification of delay and revised date of delivery via email.
  • If an item in your order isn’t immediately available in our warehouse, then please allow us 1 to 2 weeks for your purchase to be processed. Your order may be processed in multiple shipments, in which case you will be notified of the tracking number when each shipment occurs.

All items for sale on the Baagh website are available, unless stated otherwise.

We will charge the amount to your card when the item is available and ready for shipping. Please note that we can only charge the same card that was used to place the order; it is not possible to modify the payment method.

You can check the estimated shipping date either on the product page or in your confirmation email. Please note that orders are processed automatically, and the actual shipping date may vary.

Pre-ordering is the ability to order items that are not yet in stock but are available for advance reservation online. We will notify you via email when your pre-ordered item becomes available. You will receive a shipping confirmation email when your item is sent, at which point your credit card will be charged, if payment has not been made already.

Suede is an extremely strong, durable and robust fabric. Suede is created from a thinner layer of hide than conventional leather, making it more flexible but less durable than its thicker counterpart, but with proper care, such as frequent cleaning, moisturising and protection, it should last as long as leather.

- You can maintain suede by addressing stains quickly and regularly cleaning it with a premade suede cleaner

-  After cleaning your suede articles/parts, use a soft cloth or brush to apply a suede conditioner, which will usually be a wax, oil or cream. Apply it in straight motions but in different directions to evenly distribute the conditioner over the article/part.

Another problem common with suede is fading. Make sure that you keep your suede away from direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

In case the suede article/part gets wet, let that excess moisture air dry before you pick up any kind of soap or suede eraser. Be sure to avoid drying the article/part under direct sunlight or with heat, as that can cause further damage.

If not conditioned, either through the natural oils on your dog when used often or a leather conditioner, leather can eventually dry out, get brittle and even crack. As with most things in life, prevention is better than cure. Keeping your Baagh leather article conditioned two or three times a year (or as needed) will keep it looking and working great. If it does get a little too dried out, don’t worry, you can usually restore it back to normal. We do recommend Saddle Soap, but most any leather conditioner will work, and in an emergency vegetable oil or olive oil will work. Just make sure to test an inconspicuous area first to see if there is any discoloration. Food grade oils may also invite chewing, so we do recommend Saddle Soap and wax based conditioners.

1. Remove spots as soon as they appear; don’t let it sit on the leather too long.

2. Use a baby wipe and fold it in half. Do not use wipes that contain alcohol, dyes or fragrance.

3. Place your hand on the opposite side of the stain and wipe away, cleaning the spot and surrounding area.

4. Rub with moderate pressure to remove the stain; using too much force may discolor the leather.

Our leather and hardware components have been thoroughly tested and carefully chosen to be durable and to withstand considerable amounts of force by various breeds of pet dogs. Nevertheless, as luxurious canine fashion pieces, they are not indestructible.

Leather is susceptible to absorbing grease and oils; handle with clean hands.

– Locate the scratch or spot on the leather goods

– Using the oils from your hands, bend and work the spot back and forth over the scratch and marks.

– Continue as needed working the leather. The scratch will continue to disappear over time.

- Simply choose the product you’d like, click ‘Add to Cart,’ and let us know how many you want. 

- You can easily view or edit your cart anytime by clicking the cart icon located in the top right corner of any page on our site. When you’re ready, just proceed to checkout.

- After you complete your payment, you’ll see a thank you page with your order number and details, confirming that we’ve received your order. Don’t worry—we’ll also send you an order confirmation via email.

No worries! Just reach out to us at info@baagh.pet and you can place your order right over the email. Simply mention the product you want and provide your shipping details, and we’ll take care of the rest!

All orders once confirmed and dispatched with an Order Number cannot be cancelled. We will look to fulfil this order at the earliest. However, you can modify the order for size, colour or product of the same value or higher, provided the order is in the ‘Unfulfilled’ status and not dispatched yet. Once the AWB is printed for an order, the changes cannot be modified. To do so, simply drop an email to info@baagh.pet immediately with your order number and the changes to be made and the team will happily oblige and guide you.

Amendments in delivery details/address can be modified provided the order is in the “Unfulfilled” status and has not been dispatched. To do so, simply drop an email to info@baagh.pet with your order number and the changes to be made and our team will happily assist you. 

Once the order is processed - the AWB is printed for an order and it has been dispatched, we are unable to change any shipping details/addresses.

Placing a gift order is simple! For any product available for gifting, you’ll see an “Add Gift Options” button clearly highlighted above the “Add to Cart” button. Just click on that to select your gift preferences.

Additionally, you’ll find the “Add Gift Options” button again while reviewing and finalising your cart before proceeding to checkout. This way, you can ensure your gift is just right before placing your order. Happy gifting!

Yes, you can add a gift message after placing your order, provided that the order has not been processed yet and is in the “unfulfilled” status. To do so, kindly drop an email to us info@baagh.pet with your order number/id along with your gift message and our team will happily assist you.

We ensure the utmost protection and welcome you to read our Privacy policy, cookie policy and Terms and Conditions. Please email us at info@baagh.pet for more information.

We would advise having your order delivered to an alternate address with someone there to accept it. If there is no one available at the given address to accept the order, our shipping partner will re-attempt the delivery 2 more times until the order is Returned to Origin (RTO). To avoid an RTO, please make sure to inform us about the same info@baagh.pet so that we can hold our shipment until you are available at the location.

Kindly send us an email info@baagh.pet with the order number as well as pictures of proof on the defects/damage, even if the Baagh packaging is damaged. Once confirmed, our team will send an email back to you mentioning that your product will be recalled to the warehouse and will ship a new and crisp piece back to you at the earliest.

Payment

If you have received an order confirmation email and then a follow-up email mentioning that your transaction has failed despite money being debited from your account, do not worry. Your order will be shipped as this would be a glitch with our payment’s aggregator. Once an order number has been generated, your order will be shipped and delivered as per our policy.

Our website automatically sets prices to the currency you usually browse with or based on the country you’re browsing from.

Yes, simply drop in an email to info@baagh.pet and our team will facilitate a GST invoice against your order.

Your invoice will be attached to the confirmation email that you receive after placing an order through shop.baagh.pet

Online purchases: Can be done through the following payment methods: Cards, AmEx, Netbanking, EMI, Wallet, UPI and Bank transfer.

Please note: We accept COD/pay on delivery for online purchases below INR 5000 only.

Orders placed on Baagh, shop.baagh.pet are subject to the applicable state, local or country taxes and duties. Your order confirmation will show the applicable taxes and duties in the order total.

Domestic and International Shipping

We ship and deliver all our orders worldwide.

International shipping from India to these countries is prohibited. List of countries include - North Korea, Iran, Syria, Myanmar, Sudan and South Sudan.

All online orders are shipped from our Fulfilment Centre located in Calcutta, India.

We provide free standard shipping on all domestic orders in Pan-India.

- International orders have an additional charge which is mentioned at the time of checkout basis the    delivery address.

- We provide free standard shipping globally on order value exceeding INR 10000. 

- Next-day and express delivery options are available.  For next day/express delivery, the shipping charges will be borne by the customer.

We will do our best to dispatch your order promptly after you have placed it, according to the delivery option you selected. Dispatch is within 2 working days in which our warehouse will process and dispatch your shipment from Monday through Friday., subject to availability.

Kindly allow us 6-12 working days for your order to be delivered. For international orders delivery timelines are subject to the address provided.

For security reasons, we are unable to process an order with a P.O. box address.

If delivery is delayed for any unforeseen circumstance/reason we will let you know as soon as possible and will advise you of a revised estimated date for delivery.

We offer various shipping options. In some cases, a third-party supplier may be managing our inventory and will be responsible for shipping your products.

Note: If you select a shipping option, we will follow up after you have placed the order with any additional shipping information.

All times and dates given for delivery of the products are given in good faith but are estimates only.

The prices of products are exclusive of the applicable state and central taxes for domestic orders.

All prices, taxes and charges are specified in your cart, as well as on the checkout page, before payment. No delivery will be made by Baagh if complete payment of the order is not fulfilled.

When ordering goods from our site for delivery overseas you may be subject to additional import duties and taxes, which are levied once the order reaches the specified destination.

Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, so we'd always recommend contacting your local customs for more information before placing an order. If these charges are unpaid or you refuse to pay them, your order will not be able to be delivered to you, in such cases we at BAAGH are not liable for any refunds or replacements.

You will receive an email from us with your tracking information and estimated delivery date which is provided by our shipping aggregation service. For international orders, we use a local courier service provider and will contact you personally on the tracking number for the same.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and/or logistic issues out of our control, there may occasionally be a delay in shipping your order. Do not worry as we are only looking to fulfil all orders that are confirmed.

In an unfortunate case where we are unable to deliver your order for whatever reason within 45 days of purchase, we will refund the debited amount back to your source account.

Our shipping aggregator makes sure to assign the strongest courier partner to ship your order at the earliest.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

You can exchange/return the product(s), purchased from us provided the product(s) satisfy below mandatory conditions: 

  • The product has not been worn, cleaned, or tampered with by you.
  • The brand tags, original packaging material, accompanying accessories are intact and not altered, damaged, or discarded by you.
  • The product is not altered, unless proven vendor/manufacturing defect.
  • Return is being initiated against the order under which it was bought, and the product matches our records.
  • There is no foul odour, perfume, stains, dents, scratches, tears or damage on the product.
  • The product(s) if bought as a set should be exchanged as the complete set.
  • Products returned should be in unused, undamaged, unwashed and in a saleable condition.
  • We are satisfied that the product has not been rendered defective or unusable, and it passes our thorough quality check. 
  • Return of purchased products are facilitated through our reverse-logistics partners. On receipt of request for return of product on shop.baagh.pet and the same being duly acknowledged by us, our reverse-logistics partners will get in touch with you to collect the purchased products from you.

We at Baagh aka baagh.pet, shop.baagh.pet reserves the right to reject the exchange/return request for a product if it does not satisfy the aforementioned conditions.

Note- The brand is not liable for any product defects discovered 15 days after the date of purchase/ delivery.

  • You may submit your return request directly via our Orders section on the Customer Accounts page. Our Returns/Exchanges portal can be accessed after logging in here.
  • Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase to qualify for an exchange/replacement to the same value or store credit (valid for one year from the date of purchase). Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns/exchanges after this time.

  • Please return the item in its original, pristine condition and packaging. Please include the original receipt (or a copy if returning one item out of several purchased at the same time). Returning is complimentary using a pre-paid postage return label with (shipping partner)
  • India – 30 days replacements from the date of product delivery.
  • International – 30 days replacements from the date of product delivered.

We will send a confirmation via email and your registered WhatsApp number when we receive them.

You may initiate the request of a return of a product if:

(a) Product does not fit.

(b) both the product and shipping package have been damaged.

(c) Product is defective/damaged.

(d) parts of the Product or accessory are missing.

Returns are chargeable at Rs.150/- for domestic orders, per order.  And the amount chargeable for returns on international order will be calculated depending upon region.

Fill in the required fields after entering your order details, at the returns/exchange’s portal from here

  1. Once the return/exchange request has been submitted, a pickup will be scheduled for your item(s). Our courier partner will collect your order within 1 to 7 days. All products must be returned unused, in pristine condition and all original packaging, tags, labels and receipt should be attached.
  2. Once collected, it will arrive at our warehouse for a quality check.
  3. In the case of exchanges, the new item(s) will be shipped out within 2-3 working days after the quality check is approved.
  4. In the case of returns, the order amount will be refunded and will reflect in your account within 10 to 14 business days after the quality check is approved. Please note a shipping cost of Rs. 150/- will be deducted from the order amount for any domestic returns.
  • Cancellation of an order is only possible in the case that the product/s AWB has not been generated, order has not been shipped and the order status is still reflected as ‘unfulfilled’. You can opt for a store credit or opt for another product in exchange for the same value or more. Once shipped, cancellation requests are not valid.

Products purchased on sale, altered, customised, sale items, and markdown items are non-returnable. The order(s) cannot be cancelled once the order is placed and are not eligible for return/refund/exchange, unless the article/’s received by you is damaged and not in pristine condition.

- As all made-to-measure orders are unique to cater to the specific requirements given to us by our clients, we cannot offer an exchange or a return on the order.

- We can alter the articles if required depending on the form of the product.

- If you wish to alter your product, you’d have to ship it to us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Limitations of liability: 

Baagh cannot be held liable for breach of any of its obligations if the poor performance of the product is the result of an event of force majeure, or of the Customer's act or omission or of an unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party or an obstacle outside of Baagh’s control that Baagh could not reasonably foresee at the time when the sale was conducted into with the Customer and which consequences Baagh cannot reasonably avoid or overcome.
